when we first saw this laptop ,the first impression and question that occurred in our minds was what exactly is Microsoft aiming at? 
The  price is really surprising because the original surface laptop costs around $999 and above if you add various configurations but bringing it down to $549 by creating a smaller version is something that shouldn't be considered to be common.

Chromebooks has been on a very high demand by various schools,if you check it very well you'll see that they are very easy and convenient to use. Most people now prefer working with Chromebooks for various reasons one being it's price and how it works, since most of them now run Android apps without much hassle.

Microsoft really made plenty sacrifices towards creating the surface laptop go,the size was reduced, windows hello absent and some other features which are not going to be hindrance.
It's a very cool, portable and simple device ;even with the lack of some features ,it can still runs windows apps very well.
