Chromebooks are laptops too just like windows and Apple laptops. They run on chrome os but the recent developments made them compatible with andriod applications. You still get the original computer experience but the major difference is the operating system which I mentioned above. 
Chromebooks can now run Android apps same as Android smartphones and tablets.
The most interesting and best part is the hardware,most chromebooks come with good hardware design which leaves the some folks confused on which laptop to buy. Setting aside performance, Chromebooks have good hardware designs. If you noticed , people rush to Apple gadgets not  just because of their performance but the  for their sleek, premium high quality designs
Apple has learned to  deal with the exterior specifications of theirs products to high level, other tech companies have found the secret too and they have put to work.

The Google pixel book, Samsung Galaxy book, Samsung Chromebook plus and plus v2, Samsung Chromebook 4 and 4 plus are typical of examples of Chromebooks with good designs,but does that really matter?

Chromebooks are still developing and getting much better but what's the essence of  having a Chromebook when there are other options
A significant feature of these laptop is the Chromebook browser and other important apps for productivity. Adding Android applications to it just made it better in some aspects  like multimedia purposes, gaming , editing documents and others alike.
The Asus Chromebook flip c101 NA has been my favorite Chromebook. Its a 10.1 inche device with nice built quality, keyboard,good display and very compact.
The huge selling point of this device is the portability , it's  light and very easy to carry on the go. It a flip Chromebook therefore it can  be used in laptop mode, tent mode and tablet mode .

Chromebooks are being developed  in terms of the exterior and interior features, we see it as a device of the feature which might be at the highest peak as time as on.
